Dr. Alexander Biach is deputy director of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce and Industry since 2016, which gives him the insight into the challenges of Viennas Entrepreneurs and corporations. Additional he is chairman of the Main Association of the Austrian Social Security Institutions and known as a proven expert of health systems beyond the borders. This position also adds the social aspects to his portfolio of location knowledge.
Recently he was also appointed the first “Business Location Advocate” of Vienna. His major role in this function is to point out the advantages of new urban projects for the town of Vienna, the business location and the enterprises.
The father of two daughters studied Business Administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and earned his PHD degree in Social and Economic Sciences.
